WELCOME TO MY LITTLE PLACE IN ALASKA

Hi, I'm Shay. Welcome to my home page. I live in a small community in the Alaskan wilderness. Population 600. My job as a bartender in a quaint historical lodge is a lot of fun! Winters here are long and cold, but also beautiful. The summers are spectacular!!! Winter is almost over now. The snow now measures about 5 feet . We still have snow falling and I doubt it will start to melt untill at least the end of April. June or July is a great time to visit Alaska,breakup is over and the king salmon are running!

This is my home. It is backed by the forest and just across the road from the lake. in the summer it is filled with wild ducks and sand hill cranes.We also have our share of loons,thier night songs are haunting and beautiful.

My favorite flowers are roses, one or one dozen, or the wild roses that grow in my yard. My favorite drink is tequila Rose on the rocks!! Now does that surprise you !
